Baby white ragged robin

Yeah! Garden centres open so off I zoomed on my own to Jenny at Ashmoor Nursery.

I was not the only one but it wasn’t exactly heaving so no problem avoiding others.

I snaffled a big bag of compost and three plants - two verbena and a big brother for white ragged robin that I bought as a baby plant earlier in the year.
They obviously spread!













The living room decoration is nearly done. Adrian is so much better at it than me... I will do my bit by pricking out lettuce plants for our sustenance. Oh my, how he loves lettuce! My guerrilla potatoes are coming up well too. You know - the sprouty ones that are left from supermarket bags when you don’t get round to them in time. I always just plant them. Monty would disapprove I’m sure. What! No crop rotation....? And talking of dear Monty, we were sad to hear this morning that his lovely dog Nigel has died.
