Well we set to with a will to be productive. Shrubs were hacked, beds dug out, large bay tree in barrel rolled to the other side of the garden and planted by the hedge.

Listening to The Archers is on hold because they can’t get the actors together in a studio - social distancing you see. Plus most of the cast are too ancient to risk! Nearly every broadcaster is recording their programme from the kitchen table or under the duvet. Live shows are coming via Zoom or remote cameras. Only the TV news seems able to have two people at a time, either side of a two metre table. It’s the New Normal.
